With a commitment to investing in youth, FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative is proud to provide scholarships to several individuals pursuing higher education across the cooperative membership on an annual basis.

Since the cooperatives merged in 2013, FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative has given more than $115,000 over to more than 130 individuals. FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative strongly believes in the value of equipping future dairy farmers and agriculturists with the lifelong skills and valuable tools to lead a successful career within the agriculture industry.

Applications become available later in the year and are typically due by the end of March. Students interested in applying can anticipate the following being required:

  • Answers to essay questions, which are included on the application form and unique to each year
  • Most recent transcripts (high school or college)
  • Digital photo to be used for publication purposes
  • Two letters of recommendation (which can be mailed/e-mailed separately)
  • Confirmation of acceptance into post-secondary school (only high school students)

Apply for the 2018 Wisconsin Dairy Products Association Scholarship!

Wisconsin Dairy Products Association (WDPA) is offering TWO scholarships this year, both valued at $2,000 each. To be eligible, students must be attending a University of Wisconsin school, and be pursuing a degree in Food Science, Dairy Science or a dairy industry related program. Eligible students can either be a graduating high school senior or currently attending a post-secondary school program; grad students are not eligible to apply. Applications are due by March 30.

Apply for the 2018 Insurance Center Scholarship!

The Insurance Advisory Council of The Insurance Center is also making their agribusiness scholarship available once again. To be eligible, students must currently be attending a post-secondary college, university or technical school program; high school seniors are not eligible to apply. Applicants must also be continuing their education in an agriculture related field. Applications must be completed and returned to the Insurance Advisory Council no later than March 31.
